Our enemies rage, threatening the Jewish people, especially those living in Eretz Yisroel, with danger, violence, and destruction.
Our chachomim have taught us that when the voice is the voice of Yaakov, the hands of Eisav have no power. In that spirit, we urge the public to respond with heartfelt teshuvah and tefillah, each person turning to Hashem in their own way and capacity to awaken mercy from Heaven so that no harm befalls the righteous and no tragedy enters our communities.
We ask that every kehillah add the following chapters of Tehillim at the end of davening each day until the danger passes: chapters 80, 121, and 20.
