Yoshon Update
The STAR-K Yoshon Guidelines page has been updated with the following information:
WHEAT
► Chodosh wheat will be entering mills very soon. Consumers buying wheat flour should start checking dates in the next week or two. Any retail flour dated before August 18 is certainly yoshon. We are in the process of updating the dates for specific companies.
► For fresh baked goods and all other grain products, there is no need to start checking dates before September 1 at least. We will issue an update before then.
OATS & BARLEY
No info yet. All can be assumed yoshon at least until the next update at the end of the month.
