BREAKING: New York State to Divest From Ben & Jerry’s Parent Unilever

New York State will divest from conglomerate Unilever, after its ice cream brand Ben & Jerry’s announced last summer it would no longer sell its products in what it deemed occupied Palestinian territories.
Former New York State Assemblyman Dov Hikind revealed in a tweet Thursday evening, “NYS Comptroller Tom DiNapoli has just informed me that NYS will divest from Unilever over the boycott of Israel by Ben and Jerry’s. This will cost Unilever 111 million dollars. BDS=Antisemitism. G-d bless Tom DiNapoli for doing what’s right.”
