WOODMERE (VINnews) — A 15-year-old girl Jewish girl was killed, and others were badly injured after a horrific accident occurred in Woodmere late Saturday night.
Emergency response vehicles filled the area of Peninsula Blvd & Edward Ave in Woodmere after a Dodge Ram and an Audi SUV collided at approximately 11:00 PM.
The 15-year-old girl who passed away shortly after the collision has been identified as Liel Namdar, and was a passenger in the Audi. The other four passengers of the Audi were hospitalized, with one listed as critical.
The car was a group of girls returning from a Camp Sternberg reunion.
Two passengers from the Dodge Ram were treated for minor injuries.
The driver of the Dodge Ram, identified as Arlin Javier Aguilera, was taken into custody at the scene, and will be arraigned later Sunday.
The Tehilim names for others involved in horrific crash are Miriam bas Inna Pesya Yocheved, Aliza bas Miriam, Chana Eliana bas Naomi and Rachel Esther bas Tamar.
