When Covid-19 struck, it paralized the world.
New York city and its surrounding areas became the epicenter of the virus. The influx of victims caused a major shortage of various medical supplies, ventilators and PPE.
In many ways, the Jewish community stepped up to help. They donated state-of-the-art equipment, including Ventilators, dialysis machines and oxygen concentrates. They also provided PPE which was in short supply, and food as a relief for the medical staff who were working over time.
This video has shout-outs from many esteemed medical personal thanking the Jewish community for their help.
