And Then A Strong East Wind Blew The Rocket Into The Sea And I Screamed “There Is A G-d”

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — This story appeared on Hebrew social media sites this week, although it refers to a true event which occurred a few years ago.
“On Sunday A. who is the commander of an Iron Dome defense system, called me up. He was my student 6 years ago, and I was happy to hear from him. “Where can I learn Torah in Ramat Gan,” he queried and I wondered what had happened to him since he was not in any way connected to Torah observance. “I’m about to be released in a few months and want to study in yeshiva. I saw the Holy One, Blessed be He, with my own eyes.” I was a bit surprised and asked him what had happened.
“A rocket came from Gaza. Iron Dome is unique in its precise calculations. We knew from the rocket’s trajectory where it would fall within a radius of 200 meters. This one was going to hit the Azrieli tower, the Kiryah (Israeli defense forces headquarters or the train. Either way, hundreds of people could get hit.
“We sent a first interceptor but it missed. A second one missed and then a third. This is very rare, it only happened twice before. I was shocked. We had 4 seconds until the rocket would begin to fall. We already notified emergency services -fire and rescue, MDA to get to the scene.
“Suddenly, without any intervention of Iron Dome an east wind began blowing – a strong wind. We have no idea where it came from, but it sent the rocket westwards into the sea. We were stunned. I got up and screamed: “There is a G-d! There is a G-d.”
“I saw this miracle with my own eyes, nobody reported it to me. I saw the hand of G-d kick that rocket into the sea.
“Obviously it was not reported (homeland security) but it is enough to see the miracles which occur in residential areas to understand that G-d exists. I ran to one of the religious soldiers and asked to put on Tefillin. I decided to keep Shabbos and it was the best Shabbos I had ever had until now,” he said. I was very moved by his words.
“Happy are you”, I said, “that you merited to see this event and understand that it was from G-d.”
