JCRS: BRING LIGHT TO A CHILD’S FUTURE
Every Jewish child deserves the opportunity to thrive.
For more than 170 years, Jewish Children’s Regional Service (JCRS) has been a source of hope and opportunity for Jewish children and families across the South. Guided by compassion, we ensure that every child has the chance to thrive—no matter their circumstances.
Your generosity makes this possible. As we close the year and celebrate the season of light, please consider a meaningful gift to JCRS. Together, we can brighten futures and strengthen Jewish connections for the next generation.
This year alone, JCRS touched the lives of more than 1,850 children through college scholarships, summer camp grants, special needs assistance, and cherished outreach programs like our Hanukkah gift initiative. Each scholarship, each grant, each gift is more than financial aid—it’s a message to a child that their community believes in them.
109 college students received $478,000 in aid.
498 campers attended 63 Jewish sleep-away camps.
55 children with special needs received year-round support.
250 children and special needs adults received Hanukkah gift packages.
1,082 children in Louisiana received monthly PJ Library books.
Behind each number is a story of light: a single mother whose children built lifelong friendships at camp, a young student with dyslexia who gained confidence through specialized support, and countless families who found strength in knowing they are not alone.
