PICKLETOPIA

Pickletopia offers a huge assortment of pickles ranging from cucumbers in all flavors: half sour, sour, dill, Mediterranean, to the more interesting and unusual preserved vegetables, like Russian sauerkraut or bread-and-butter okra. This is kosher shop is definitely a nod to the old school pickle places of Manhattan’s Lower East Side.

BENNY’S BAGELS
6911 Frankford Road at Hillcrest 75252 (469-444-5434) Dairy restaurant and coffee shop with a variety of flavored bagels (all bagels are pareve except chocolate chip). Breakfast served daily from 7:00am including egg & cheese sandwich on bagel or croissant. Muffins and all other baked goods are dairy. MONSTER YOGURT
Located 1360 W. Campbell Rd. next to Tom Thumb – (972-234-4966) Monster offers a variety of flavors and more than 70 topping of delicious yogurt and sorbet. The yogurt is dairy but the sorbet is non-dairy made on dairy equipment and labeled DE. (Alert to Kosher consumers: There is no waiting period after eating meat when eating a DE product. The DE product must not be eaten on the same plate as meat but can be consumed immediately following the meat meal.) Please note: there is a party room that is not under kosher supervision but arrangements can be made by the owner, Ava, to order kosher pizza for your party and of course yogurt for dessert.
