The Wise Initiative
Dallas Kosher launches programming for seniors with The WISE Initiative (Wisdom Is Seniors’ Experience). Tuesday Talk, offered the first Tuesday of the month at the JCC, kicked off last month to rave reviews. Please join this coming Tuesday at 1:00, for part 2 of ‘Moments in Time’, the mini memoir writing workshop given by father/daughter duo authors Ken Toppell and Brenna Vivier Toppell. Ken is a retired pulmonary/critical care physician turned author and Brenna is a writer and meditation coach.
Tuesday Talk is held at 1:00 immediately following the senior lunch in the Zale Auditorium of the JCC. Lunch which is hot and delicious is under the supervision of Dallas Kosher, offered for just a $3.50 donation. Tuesday is international day at the J lunch so it’s an extra special experience. Attached is the February menu. Reservations must be made one day in advance, so please reserve your spot for lunch and for the talk by Monday, by calling (214)239-7183.
