Dear Dallas Jewish Community:
We are excited to inform our members that we are participating in a beautiful and important new program being launched in the Dallas/Houston area.
Unfortunately, we are all too familiar with urgent fundraising campaigns when someone unexpectedly passes away without sufficient financial security for their family, lo aleinu. The new program addressing this challenge is called LifeShare.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
LifeShare is a global, online community where everyone commits to provide financial support to each other in the event of a tragic loss of one of its members. Only in the event of a member’s death, G-d forbid, are the other community members automatically billed a minimal, one-time contribution (it is considered tzedakah that can be paid from maaser), and the family of the deceased receives an immediate cash payout of up to $250,000.
You can enroll in the LifeShare community online in just a few minutes. There are NO FIXED PREMIUMS or monthly costs.

LifeShare is also offering a Sponsorship Program where you can sponsor local rebbeim, families or institutions by covering their LifeShare membership. We are aware of many families in the community that would need urgent financial support if they were to pass away.
Sponsorship costs are extremely minimal. We strongly endorse this program and encourage everyone to join and consider sponsoring someone in the community. It is an extremely simple and inexpensive way to protect the community, and ourselves, BEFORE a tragedy strikes.
We should never need LifeShare… but if the need arises, we should already be there for each other.
