Bnei Brak: 19-Year-Old Newly Married Woman Loses Leg After Tree Falls On Her
BNEI BRAK (VINnews) — A 19-year-old young lady, married just three months, was seriously injured Tuesday after a tree fell on her in a Bnei Brak courtyard. Hatzalah medics were called to the scene and gave the young lady initial treatment. She was take in serious condition to Sheba hospital where her leg was amputated.
Motty Malik, a United Hatzalah paramedic, said that “the young lady suffered sever trauma to her lower limbs from a tree trunk which fell in her courtyard. The young lady was transferred to the ICU at Sheba hospital in serious condition.
The young lady is the daughter-in-law of singer Avi Ben-Yisrael, who said that she had undergone a 7-hour operation to save what was possible from her leg. He asked people to pray for the welfare of Orit Bat Aviva:
“I beg of everyone to beseech the Heavens and pray for Orit Bat Aviva. Imagine that this is your daughter, leave everything and pray for her recovery. All of Israel are responsible for one another and not for nothing do we pray “remember us for a good life.” Thank Hashem for every moment of health that you have.”
