Camp Oraysa: The Gold Standard in Torah Camping
Dear Parents,
We are excited for Camp Oraysa 2022, and preparations have been underway for a few months already. We apologize for the delay in registration. The original plan was to host boys and girls together at TDSD. However, Torah Day School has recently informed us that they can no longer host us in their building for this summer.
As of now, the plan is to host Camp Oraysa Boys and Camp Oraysa Junior back in DATA of Plano, as it was last year. We are exploring options to provide transportation between Plano and the south, so you won’t have to worry about carpools and drop-offs from the south eruv.
At this point, Camp Oraysa will not offer a girls’ division for this year. For inquiries regarding the girls’ camp, please be in touch directly with Mrs. Rochel Adler (Blitz) at [email protected]. I know this is a disappointment to many, as it is to us. The goal of a community camp, a one-stop shop serving as the gold standard of Torah camping for the entire Dallas community, is still alive. Registration for Camp Oraysa in Plano, both boys and preschool, is now open at www.dataofplano.org/camporaysa.
