Video: High Speed Muscle Car Crash Leaves Jewish Williamsburg Woman in Critical Condition

BROOKLYN, NY (VINnews) – A 32 year old Williamsburg woman is in critical condition after being ejected from a car in an early morning collision with a muscle car adorned with artwork of a skull brandishing a dagger that had been observed earlier driving erratically in front of a Brooklyn shopping center.
Police said that the accident took place at approximately 12:30 AM at the intersection of DeKalb and Bedford Avenues when the 22 year old driver of a Dodge Charger 392 heading north on Bedford Avenue rammed into the side of a Honda Accord heading west on DeKalb Avenue.
Surveillance video obtained by Williamsburg News shows the Charger running a red light at what appears to be a high speed, sending the Accord spinning onto a sidewalk where it came to rest in front of a delicatessen.
ABC News(https://7ny.tv/3mmg8uR) reported that the vehicle that was hit was an Uber, with the injured woman thrown to the ground on impact. According to CBS News (https://cbsloc.al/3migjam), police do not believe she was wearing a seatbelt. She was transported to Bellevue Hospital, as was the Uber driver, who is in stable condition.
The driver of the Charger was identified as Middletown resident Ryan Ortiz, transported to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.
With its unique markings – a white front and black rear with a hooded scream mask and a dagger painted on both side panels and the Instagram handle @jaydollasofficial_392- Ortiz’s vehicle was easily identified as one of two muscle cars doing 360 degree spins in front of the Kings Plaza shopping center.
Footage of the two cars posted to the @jaydollasofficial_392 Instagram account, which has since been disabled, showed both vehicles having unidentified individuals seated atop their open rear passenger windows as they spun around repeatedly in circles.
An investigation into the accident is currently ongoing, and it is not known yet what charges the Ortiz may be facing.
