Camp Oraysa Update

Dear Parents,

I hope this letter finds you well.

This is an update on our status regarding Camp Oraysa for the coming summer.

As you are aware, the camp was shut down in the middle of last summer, due to bureaucratic licensing issues. Since then, we have been researching options for the coming summer, and there is a very reasonable path forward that would allow us to open as a fully licensed camp.

For that reason, I am happy to share that we plan to open registration in the coming weeks, once the next round of paperwork is submitted to the state. I know registration usually opens earlier in the year, and we appreciate your patience.

To be clear, there is no way I can say with 100% certainty that camp will open, but then again, most things in life are not 100% certain. There are still mountains of paperwork to be submitted and approved, inspections to pass, and staff training and courses to complete. There will be no point at which I can say with 100% certainty that we will open until we get much closer to summer. However, I can now say that it’s very likely, and we are confident that everything will work out with Hashem’s help.

We are excited to welcome your son to Camp Oraysa for 2026. Look out for registration in the coming weeks!
