School Choice is here to stay. If the Senate gets its way, at least. Just moments ago, the Senate Finance Committee released its version of the Big, Beautiful Bill. Not only did they keep the scholarship tax credit in the bill, they made it better – and permanent.

On Wednesday, we held a special insider briefing on the “Big Beautiful Bill” — the budget legislation passed by the House last week that includes a multi-billion dollar federal school choice proposal.

Last week the US House of Representatives included a multi-billion dollar school choice proposal in the “Big Beautiful Bill” passed by that chamber. As we move our advocacy efforts to the Senate we are getting many questions from our members.

On Friday, the Senate introduced SB2, a $1 billion Education Savings Account (ESA) proposal. What’s Included: All students, regardless of income, can apply for $11,500 ESA for educational expenses including private school tuition.
