Coronavirus Outbreak In House Of Rabbi Kanievsky
BNEI BRAK (VINnews) — After Rabbi Chaim Kanievski’s driver tested positive on Erev Yom Kippur for coronavirus, it was reported by Haaretz’s Aharon Rabinowitz that a number of the rabbi’s grandchildren also tested positive this week for the virus. At least two of them had been in daily contact with the rabbi over the past few weeks.
Members of the rabbi’s household said that those who had exhibited symptoms of the virus had isolated themselves immediately and the others who came in contact with the rabbi had already recovered from the virus. The members stressed that “the rabbi feels well, thank G-d. We pray that he will continue this way.”
Rabbi Kanievski has been isolated for the past months and has only received guests behind a transparent partition.
