Dallas Kosher Announces Kosher Month 5780/2020 – March 12-April 19
[Dallas Kosher Month is canceled due to COVID-19] Dallas Kosher, in partnership with area organizations, congregations and restaurants, presents a steady line-up of fun and informative kosher-related programs for the community! From March 12-April 19th you may enjoy cooking classes and demonstrations, trivia nights, gourmet dinners and classes on kosher laws as well as the kabbalistic aspects of kosher During Kosher Month you will gain the spiritual insights and practical tools to begin or elevate your kosher practice and your life. Join in and be inspired!
Kosher Month kicks off on Monday, March 16th at 7p.m. at Whole Foods Preston/Forest. Rabbi Yerachmiel Fried, a Torah giant of our generation, Founder and Dean of Dallas Area Torah Association (DATA), will discuss the fascinating and controversial topic, ‘Is Eating Kosher Bacon Kosher?’
Jordona Kohn, Executive Chef and co-owner of The Market will share holiday and every-day menu ideas in a cooking demonstration featuring Whole Foods’ amazing kosher cut fish selection. Whole Foods Preston/Forest will sponsor this wine and cheese event which will be complementary.
