Shabbos Project Recap
DATA, along with affiliate divisions Olami, N’Shei, Dallas Community Kollel and I-Connect launched the Shabbos Project initiative this past weekend. Nearly 1000 Jews from Dallas joined together at Ohr HaTorah Thursday evening for a Women’s Challah Bake and Men’s Learning. Over Shabbos, many families in the south eruv welcomed guests, from 5 different communities, and hosted meals in support of this special initiative. A community Shabbos meal saw more than 300 people and Shabbos services were filled with new faces. The unity and joy of Shabbos were felt by all.
