Urgent Community Appeal: Help a Dedicated Mother in Crisis

Dear Members of the Dallas Jewish Community,

We, the undersigned rabbis, are reaching out with an urgent and heartfelt request for true tzedakah.

A respected member of our community — a single mother of three — has been raising her children with remarkable strength, faith, and dedication to Torah. Over the past year, she has endured serious health challenges that have prevented her from maintaining her regular work. After a recent major surgery, she will remain unable to work for several more months.

The woman we are assisting is a dedicated teacher at Torah Day School. Though she doesn’t reside in our neighborhood, she is an active and valued part of our community.

The resulting financial strain is overwhelming. Mounting debts and ongoing expenses now threaten her family’s stability — including the children’s schooling and emotional well-being.

We have established a campaign to provide meaningful assistance during this critical time. All funds will be distributed through Ohr HaTorah’s Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund, under our direct supervision, to ensure that every dollar of your generous contribution is used effectively and responsibly.
